The scene you're remembering is from BBC Sherlock, first season, The Blind Banker, and, actually, reminded me a great deal of Alex as he has a collection of unglazed tea pots, each of which he uses for only one kind of tea, that he has to take care of similarly to the museum woman because they will dry out. Mine is hard glazed and needs very little attention other than to be lovingly used :)

While Lauren grew up playing at playgrounds, getting scuffed up and all the rest. I sometimes wonder if hers may be the last generation that experienced many of the types of activities we grew up with because even still, I must admit, she did not run nearly as wild as we did when I was young.
