He is apparently playing a terrorist(??) named John Harrison...who has pointy ears!! and yeah, I'm salivating right along with you over, it would seem, Harrison/Kirk fic :)

I just started a Sherlock/John fic on AO3 that has over a 1000 comments and so far it is keeping my interest but there is something about it that hasn't completely hooked me. There's a sense of glibness to the writing that I want gone - just give me characters and good characterization which she has done, but I can sense the author's presence as well and she should be invisible. I will continue and let you know.

Did the fic improve as you hoped it would and did you finish it? If so, please let me know how I can find it because although I have had no time for fic lately, I'm hoping that situation will improve here pretty soon :) I've read little Sherlock/ John but I really like the one Lauren rec'ed to me...Alone on the Water. Have you read it?
