Hm, I've never heard Sean being pronounced as "seen". It's a Celtic name, and they pronounce things differently. An "S" together with a vowel is pronounced "sh" (Siobhan is pronounced Shavon, for example).

My examples only if his name did rhyme, which it doesn't although I didn't know the name was Celtic even if I should have guessed it was.
