It's kind of ironic how...
Apr. 29th, 2009 06:56 am...just last week, I was talking to
arlad about what's been going on in Mexico -- for those who don't know, she lives in Mexico City -- with the flue and her saying how bad it's getting and me being worried for her and relieved we live here, when, this morning -- actually at midnight last night -- I receive a call from my daughter's highschool saying that they were shutting it down until NEXT Wednesday because a student tested positive last Thursday for Swine Flue. Apparently, there's a 10 day incubation period and, now I'm to watch her for symptoms.
It's a small freakin' world, isn't it? And we're all in this together.
And maybe ironic isn't the right word. Maybe it's more like epic scary.
