I like the simplicity of Mr. Stewart's analogy

The discussion between Jon Stewart and Mr. Nicolosi is about Reparative or Conversion Therapy which is, according to Wikipedia, --a range of treatments that aim to change sexual orientation from homosexual to heterosexual, or to convince a transgender person to give up their gender identity and instead identify with the gender they were assigned at birth and which, apparently, the Republican party in Texas now endorses.

Who among us is surprised.
