For me this provides direction. I can say that because it's only the first day and there's more than two and a half years to go. I thought it would be so hard to organize, but I was able to pull it together in a hour and a half or so. There's still room to add things so that leaves room for some spontaneity.
You could try it but your own way.
Oh, and I thought of you while putting it together. Can you offer up a poet from the 1940s - 50's, preferable gay or tending that way like O'Hara. Other than Hart Crane who I know comes earlier. I tried with him but...I didn't do so well. Maybe I should give him another shot...in 2011 when I'm older and more mature.
