It centers around 4 'genius', two of whom, Leonard and Sheldon, live together across the hall from a pretty aspiring actress, Penny, who knows nothing about physics, she works at the Cheesecake Factory. Sheldon is beyond genius, probably a little aspergers with NO NO NO people skills, he demeans her, everyone without actually realizing it, or meaning to, but their relationship evolves. Sometimes, when he can't sleep, he pleads with Penny to sing him a little song his mom used to sing to him when he was a child, the words of which accompany the picture of the kitties.
