Monday September 12, 2011 Lauren said, 'Look at the magnifying glass', so I did. It makes the world outside upside down.


Tuesday September 13, 2011 Leaving Cup&Saucer after dinner. I've always liked the juxtaposition of warm inside and cool outside light.


Wednesday September 14, 2011 This is a close-up of a cut open sweet red pepper with a tiny, and still yellow-green, red pepper growing inside. It is attached at the stem top along with the seeds. The green bit is the little pepper's own green stem that never really formed properly. An embryo pepper.


Thursday September 15, 2011 Still home, but all packed up and ready to go.

I didn't do the dorm thing, but change the clothes and hair style a little and undoubtedly Lauren could be you. The building is from the late 1960s, I can only imagine all the kids who have lived within its walls and I can only wonder when they're going to update the bathrooms :D

The window view was the first thing I noticed, she gets great light with redwood trees right outside!!

Every time I see that last shot, I get sad-eyes, all teary, so...yeah.

I am so glad you recognized the pepper photo, Lauren had no clue when I sent it to her. I had never seen such a thing before and yet, a few days later, I found another!! And yes, it was my pic-of-the-day :D
