Wednesday May 9, 2012_The completed building, which is across the street from where Barbara and I had lunch at Aqui.



Friday May 11, 2012_David worked from home and, as you can see, he's taking care of our newly cleaned carpet :)

Barbara was a little late, so I waited outside, just looking around when it suddenly dawned on me that this was the completed building from the year before, was very cool :D

It was weird, I was just standing there, leaning up against Aqui, waiting for Barbara, when I realized that the building across the street was the completed version of the in-progress building from the year before. I was a little glad she was late!!

it was the first Mother's Day when Lauren wasn't with us so, I felt a little lonely, but then she called and I felt a little less so. We'll celebrate when she comes home in a couple of weeks :D
