Part One is complete (chapters 1 through 36) and Part Two has begun (chapters 37 through 40 so far)

I am indifferent to your pain.
Your pleasure is equally unimportant to me.
Compassion has left me, for good, and good riddance to it.
My world consists of hunger, lust, greed and survival.
I am a vampire, and yes, we do exist

A Binding Fate
Story

Teresa's Preface
Had I known at the time the fate I was subjecting him to, I would have sent him away the moment I first opened my door to him. Instead, I found myself helplessly lost in the lure of his scent and reveling in the sound of his strong, steady heartbeat. His eyes- eyes that held such youthful exuberance were mixed with intelligence that appealed to my overtly curious nature. Should I have turned him away that night? Who is to say. That is a question I cannot allow myself to dwell on. The outcome of my actions remains the same, regardless.

As I watch over his motionless body, I listen for the quick rush of his pulse. I long for the rise and fall of his chest and a heartbeat so familiar to my ears I could pick him out of a crowd of strangers without so much as an effort.

I am disturbed that the only sound to be heard is his silence. I have taken away everything that he was and replaced it with the very existence I am cursed to endure if only because I find myself too selfish to let him go. His future as it is now will take on a different path, one that may or may not collide with mine. The only thing I am completely sure of…

This time, the choice will be his

I tremendously enjoyed reading TGray's "A binding Fate". This story is so sensual! I almost forgot to breathe while reading it.

I've heard about [livejournal.com profile] big_brian_o. Besides that he's more than good writer, I've also heard that he writes Brian/other stories. And this is not my cup of tea. Has he written any original story, Gayle?

[livejournal.com profile] ashmeadi is an enigma to me, though the title "Malediction" sounds known as if I've already heard or read about it.

Brian does write Brian -other but this isn't one of those. It is original fic even if the Bryant character is 'like' Brian or Gale and the Jordan character is 'like' Justin or Randy. Brian likes to give faces to his characters. The story is complicated and layered and takes place in two time frames. ashmedai was adrtylilsecret and you may have read Malediction under that name. It is season one with Brian as vampire and Justin as human. Venatic continues with season 2. I loved A Binding Fate, you are right, very sensual.

if you read either of the others, ashmedia would be easier to start with, let me know what you think.

I will follow your recommendation. First I will read [livejournal.com profile] ashmedai and only then I'll pass over to [livejournal.com profile] big_brian_o. But not now! I can barely keep my eyes open.

I hope you enjoy. ashmedai will be a quick read, I love his writing, Brian is a time commitment but the story just dragged me in. Just know that the Jordan character is secondary while the Bryant character is primary, actually told him his POV. It is original fic but I think you'll like it.

I love Malediction, and A Binding Fate. I've yet to read any of big_brian_o's fiction. I'm into well written vampire fiction so I can't wait to read Indifference.

An excellent current vampire WIP is jans_intentions' Mask.

Brian's stories are very layered, this one takes place in the present and in the past starting in the early 1700's. there are faeries, ghouls, werewolves and all sorts of beings. if you do read, let me, and of course, him know what you think. I just read 1-36 without commenting, I am remind I need to go do so.
