I've decided to do the 365 Photography Project, which is basically about self-discipline, no one watches over you or prompts you or signs you up anywhere and that's cool and, at one photograph a day, this  shouldn't be too difficult to accomplish. I'm doing this one WITHOUT Lauren, she has NO time, and is still involved with the [livejournal.com profile] 100_snapshots  comm. so, more than enough for her. I hope to post every weekend, they suggest once a week, if not more often and since I started last Sunday, well, I'm doing my first post.

I'm not going to manipulate the photographs outside the camera, they'll be downloaded and posted as is.

Wow, you saw the Dalai Lama? Amazing.

Love the photos, especially the tree and the bookcase.

IKR? it was amazing to see him, and his followers, one of whom I'm not. They were doing some sort of initiation, people came from all around, very cool.

I'm trying to explore 'dramatic' angles and extreme lighting. Let's see where that takes me.

thank you, this is a great time for plants around here. The odd-man-out is obviously the Dalia Lama, I only hope I can, each week, have one like that.

The use of light and dark is like an over-all theme for this week's photos. You certainly didn't need to tweak any of these. FanSee

P.S. I didn't know that you were trying for extreme uses of light until I read the comments. You succeeded.

I like pushing the camera's light range, the 2 bedroom photos show that, the camera points out that the photo is UNDEREXPOSED, still, I take it, sometimes that works and sometimes it really doesn't. Those that don't work get pixalated, those that do work get a chance to LIVE.

OMG these pictures are AWESOME. The first one of the dresser looks like a picture out of a magazine. I love them!!! You definitely need to do this every week. I will be watching. :)

Keep Up the Good Work!!!!

you like the dramatic up-shots. I like the pushing the limits of the camera's ability to deal with light shots, which the leaves the garden shot all alone, but as I am going to be documenting my world for the next 350-something more days, there will undoubted be more garden shots and up-shots and whatever else I can think up shots. the last 2 days have been all about Lauren...sort of.
