Sunday December 5, 2010 We like biscuits, but I never did them home-made. These are drop-biscuits and came out tooooo pale. Next time, I'll brush them with a little butter half-way through and that should brown them up nicely because they do taste good.

Tuesday December 7, 2010 We have a tiny house and there really isn't anywhere for a big tree. Okay, we could put it here but we are never here so...no. This was Lauren's tree but when we redid her room last year, we no longer had room in her room. This is seeable from the kitchen and dining room.


Wednesday December 8, 2010 This would be considered our BIG tree, in our family room, conveniently located close to the TV and seeable from EVERYwhere.


Thursday December 9, 2010 The bedroom tree reflected in the mirror.


Friday December 10, 2010 I've been dividing my time between the Lucky Strike Tattoo Parlor and Moi Day Spa. This would be the spa.


Saturday December 11, 2010 I decide to clean the shelves in the pantry which lead, naturally, to reorganizing the pantry.

Thank you!! We sliced them and used butter and jam. Next time I'll try whipped cream, although I doubt it will be fresh.

The trees do add much needed color and light to the place, I'm always sad when I have to take them down. And it's a lot more fun putting up 3 trees than taking them down anyway. Later to you too.

Obviously, I am 'into that sort of thing' so thank you, sweertie, I try. Our house is very small, no room for one large tree so, I spread the prettiness around. I actually like it better this way.

LOL! We're "into that kind of thing" too a little, so we hang up this or that decoration, bake some cookies and cook something special on Christmas eve. Not a tree though. It's nice to have a tree but it's such a hassle.

I envy you your baking skills, I don't but would like to learn. Maybe I'll take that on as a next-year project.

Someone was talking to me about doing another "theme month" in December, and make it about posting Christmas cookie/baking recipes, but things went crazy and I never posted the suggestion. But there's always next year. I hate to cook, but I like baking - it's kind of meditative. :)

Funny you should mention this because I was going to ask you to suggest one of yours I might try but see? we have ten days until Christmas, how perfect!!! A ten day until Christmas count-down of your (and Chris's) ten favorite, not-too-really-difficult cookie recipes. OMG!!
